What to ask when you find them?
- Where did you get your degree?
- How long ago did you graduate?
- Do you have professional references that can be thoroughly checked out?
- How do you arrive at your rates? ( By hour, by project, etc.)
- What is the most serious obstacle you have overcome and how did you handle it?

Make sure that you like the answers to all of the questions that you ask. If not, consider continuing the search until you find someone who answers at least most of your questions the way that you would like. While having the questions answered perfectly would be great, it is not likely that you will find the person that will be "perfect".
